Heat rash and sun rash are normally treated as the same although there are some distinctions among them. Their origin and cause of the occurrence are different. But similarities have been observed in their preventive measures and treatment. So you need to recognize the difference between these two to treat them effectively whenever needed.
Sun rash is also called photo dermatosis which happens when your skin gets exposed to the sun for a longer duration of time. The common symptoms are:
- Groups of small bumps or blisters.
- Itchy patches.
- Areas of the skin that feel like they’re burning.
- Raised or rough patches of skin.
- Fever or headache (rarely).
Heat rash, also called prickly heat, is experienced during hot and humid weather. This rash usually appears around skin folds or areas where clothes cause friction such as armpits, elbow creases, or the groin area. 
This type of infection is not necessarily concerned with sun exposure. Rather than this, they are associated with the blockage of the pores, underneath the skin, with the sweet.

- A lot of physical activity.
- Illness with fever.
- Tight or warm clothing.
